Born in a Canadian storm, Manitoba’s Red Moon Road create magic with the help of a roots drum kit cunningly split between two band members, an acoustic guitar that doubles as a bass, a twilight-voiced lead vocalist, and immaculate three-part harmonies.
Their lively take on modern roots, peppered with bright banter and storytelling, is all warm and very familiar, like a campfire crackling where the microphones are placed. The trio make their PEI debut on April 21 at The Mack.
