Come and enjoy some of the Islands finest talents and celebrate your Scottish and Celtic roots with this fun filled entertaining evening.
Performers include Joey Kitson , Julien and Annie Kitson, Ava & Lily Rashed, Fantastic Fiddling from Aaron Crane and Luka Hall, and Regazzee Choir singers under the direction of Sung Ha Shin-Bouey.
Also some exceptional dancing by Marielle Lesperance – The current and multi-Time Adult World Highland Dance Champion, College of Piping Highland dancers , Barbara Brown Yorke Highland dancers, and The Havenwood Dancers.
Celtic Spirit Variety Show is a fundraiser for Scotdance PEI who are hosting for the first time the ScotDance Canada Championship Series.
More than 800 Highland dancers from around the world will be competing in Charlottetown this summer.
The competition is set for Canada Day weekend at the P.E.I. Convention Centre in Charlottetown.
Everyone from beginners to world champions will be participating.
We thank you for your kind support this evening.
“We’re really hoping this raises the profile of Highland dancing for Prince Edward Island,” said event manager Barb Yorke.
