Confederation Centre of the Arts is pleased to announce that long-time Centre supporter Lori Ronahan has won The Viking Cruise for the Arts Lottery. Ronahan and a guest will be heading on an eight-day Danube or Rhine river cruise provided by Viking River Cruises Canada sometime this year.
Ronahan’s name was drawn on December 21, 2017 at a sold-out Matt Andersen performance where she happened to be in the audience. On her way into the show, Ronahan had purchased a lottery ticket to support the Centre’s arts education programs. We can attest to the fact that she was extremely surprised, pleased and excited when her name was announced as the winner of a Viking River Cruise.
Congratulations to Ronahan and a huge thank you to Stewart Travel and Viking who generously contributed the prize trip. And thanks to everyone who purchased tickets to help the Centre continue its excellent arts education programming.
All those who were not quite so lucky as Ronhan are invited to learn more about our supporting companies and where fundraising dollars are invested at the Viking Cruise Cultural Exchange information night with Stewart Travel on March 1. Reception is at 6:30 p.m. in Memorial Hall with presentations beginning at 7:00 p.m.
