Confederation Centre of the Arts presents Dance Umbrella’s annual showcase performance on Saturday, May 5 in the Homburg Theatre.

A cherished spring tradition, participants in the Dance Umbrella programs showcase the amazing results of a whole year’s worth of training in a special end of year performance. Dance Umbrella celebrates dance as an enriching art form for beginner and emerging Island dance and musical theatre talent. This year’s matinee includes junior and elementary classes, while the evening features the intermediate and senior students, with a new special performance by the Afro-Jazz students.

The show is titled “Dance It Out!” and reflects how so many times we can be stuck for words, but can find comfort dancing through our emotions and challenges.
