Aqsarniit: 2018 Young Company tells Canada’s story
The Confederation Centre Young Company production Aqsarniit opened July 1 in the Centre’s outdoor amphitheatre in Charlottetown. Aqsarniit (“awe-saw-nee”) is the Inuktitut word used to describe the Northern Lights.

The production continues the dialogue from The Voices of Canada (2016) and The Dream Catchers (2017).
The Confederation Centre Young Company is comprised of 13 young performing artists from across Canada. “I feel very honored and thrilled to be returning to the Confederation Centre Young Company this summer,” says Islander Nadia Haddad.
Aqsarniit opens July 1 in the Centre’s outdoor amphitheatre, accessible from Grafton and Richmond Streets.
Free performances run daily at noon, Monday to Saturday until August 18.
