Born a country boy, Elvis Presley loved to sing country songs. When he sang a song it came straight from the heart. International World Champion Thane Dunn and his Cadillac Kings return with the Rock and Country Presley classics that you’ve loved for years, from Blue Suede Shoes to Always on my Mind, Suspicious Minds, Kentucky Rain, I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry and many more, performed by the man hailed by many as the best in the business.

Thane Dunn has the full Elvis package: the look, moves and magnetic personality like none other and is actually endorsed by several people who worked and performed with Elvis. Bill Baize of JD Sumner and the Stamps, who performed with Elvis from 1971 to ’76, says, “Thane Dunn is the closest thing I’ve ever seen.”

You will laugh, cry, and cheer in amazement as you are transported back in time to the good ole days.

Special opening act Melly Dunn as the Rhinestone Cowgirl with her amazing Salute to the Queens of Country Music: Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and Tammy Wynette.

Glory Hallelujah the Partnership

Folk powerhouse pair The Small Glories are Cara Luft & JD Edwards, a dynamic duo planted on the Canadian Prairies.  A self-professed “study in contrasts,” Luft’s folkie yin proves a perfect match for Edwards’ rocker yang.  Thrown together purely by accident for an anniversary show at Winnipeg’s venerable West End Cultural Centre, The Small Glories is a partnership that could almost make you believe in fate.

Straight out of the gate these two veteran singer/songwriters built a buzz around their tight harmonies, authenticity, visceral live performances and equally well-matched guitar prowess that doesn’t come around often. Luft packs a mean banjo as well.  The Winnipeg Free Press asks, “can two singer-songwriters be better than one? Yes, emphatically, yes, if the two in question are Cara Luft and JD Edwards… It’s our loss they didn’t [join forces] sooner… It’s magic

“Luft and Edwards are two traveling souls that may have taken a while to finally find each other, but it’s damn lucky for us their paths crossed.”    — Grayowl Point

The Small Glories are at the Victoria Playhouse on August 13th at 7:30 PM

From Green Gables to the Fly Crew

During his free time, he performs with the band The Fly Crew that’s made up fellow musicians: Dan Minchom, Glo Campanelli, Jozef Teeuwson, Jordan Zagerman, Ali Wither, Vannessa Sears, Aisha Jarvis, and Ruth Altaye.

JonoJosh’s latest release “Waitin’” is a song about waiting for a beautiful redhead to take notice and was written shortly after he got the role of Gilbert. The associated lyric video encapsulates how a modern-day Gilbert may have felt upon first meeting Anne.

JonoJosh has years of experience as a dancer/choreographer with industry powerhouses such as Marianas Trench, Psy, Carly Rae Jepson, Kreesha Turner, and more. In 2016, also

released his debut EP Outside, which was about discovery and coming of age. CBC and

Kardinal Official called it “a master class of what R’n B should be.” The same year he went on to be a finalist in CBC’s Searchlight with the artist Andi and her song “Caffeine ft JonoJosh.” In 2017, JonoJosh and The Fly Crew released “Chance,” which stands alone as an art piece meant to inspire hope to its viewers.
