Dyed in the Wool

Dyed in the Wool by Chelsea Lynne at The Guild through March 3rd.

Black yarn from a black sheep is “dyed-in-the-wool”, it’s part of its nature, just as Islanders are known for deeply ingrained traits such as being friendly, hardy and community forward.

This exhibition will show images that represent the island through the scattered hay bales, the red and silver fox and our red dirt roads all explored through felting wool from our local Island sheep. Whether you were born here or are just passing through I hope the memories and stories shared here convey the beauty and the simplistic life of our Island.

The Guild, Watermark Theatre, Harbourfront Theatre, Confederation Centre for the Arts, and Victoria Theatre.
