The East Pointers Ready to Rock the Rafters December 30 and 31
JUNO Award-Winners return to Confederation Centre; 300 tickets available each night
Islanders searching for the must-see concert of the season should circle December 30 and 31 as Confederation Centre of the Arts is sending 2020 out with a bang. Sobeys LIVE @ the Centre presents two nights with the internationally acclaimed pop-folk trio, The East Pointers.
The JUNO-Award winning trio sold out the 1,100-seat Mainstage one year ago, and now return ready to rock the hall in a time when everyone needs a good night out. Special thanks are extended to performance sponsor, KKP.
Just 300 tickets are available per night, due to social distancing guidelines.
“The East Pointers are one of the most requested acts we hear about, and it’s always a full, fun house when they come to the Centre,” says Darcy Campbell, director of winter programming. “We’re thrilled to host them for two nights, and sign off on 2020 in style!”
With Billboard-worthy pop hooks, deep acoustic grooves, trance-like breakdowns, and three-part harmonies, Tim Chaisson, Koady Chaisson, and Jake Charron capture the furious energy of their live shows and push the boundaries of folk while lighting a new path for a new generation of music lovers. The music trailblazers have performed more than 500 live shows world-wide in the past five years, but nothing beats a hometown crowd during the holidays.
Tickets are limited, so patrons should act fast. Appreciation is extended to the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Province of Prince Edward Island, and the City of Charlottetown.
