The Kings Playhouse is honoured to present Greetings- An Army Musician’s Message Home. Inspired by the true story of George Bradbury and created by Marlene Handrahan, Greetings follows the story of a young musician interred in a POW camp during World War 2. As the show explores the influence of music on the war and its power to connect us and uphold us, it highlights the journey of George Bradbury – a band boy. The true story of his struggles in the war, the challenges faced by him and his young family, and moving forward in peace time is an example of resilience and hope.
