As part of our Solstice programming, we’re pleased to present a Persian Dance & Culture Workshop with Monelli Rahmatian and Dena Abbasi!

The workshop is approximately one hour, and takes place Friday December 9 from 4:30-5:30pm in Charlottetown at Downstreet Dance, 110 Grafton Street.

Join Monelli and Dena to move and learn about the special ceremonies and traditions shared on Shabe-Yalda, the Persian celebration of the Winter Solstice, which is celebrated to honour the longest night of the year with family and friends, to give us hope for the coming of Spring.

All are welcome! Participants under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
