Looking for a fun and educational activity for your child? Our Exploring Visual Arts program at the Confederation Centre is starting soon and we have two options for your kids:

Ages 6-8: In this eight-week program, beginners will explore the elements of art through a series of diverse drawing, painting, and sculpting activities. Your child will create artworks that focus on each of the elements of art: line, shape, value, colour, form and texture, while developing their visual literacy and technical ability.

Ages 9-12: This class explores the elements of art from a more technical, but still open-ended lens. Your child will have flexible exercises in drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture, and they will use gallery tours, videos, and images relevant to the topics to inform their work.
