The Guild’s Musical Theatre Classes are EXPANDING! Since The Guild has started Musical Theatre Programming for children, it has blossomed into a very successful Musical Theatre School! So, why not take it a bit further? The Guild will now be offering classes in Broadway Tap Dance for youth, Junior and Intermediate Hip Hop, Teen and Adult Tap as well as Step for all ages!Our Music Theatre School director is Lori Linkletter. Lori Linkletter owns and operates Linkletter Music Studio in Charlottetown, teaching voice, piano, theory, history, harmony and Music Theatre. Ms. Linkletter has studied at Sheridan College Music theatre program, The Glenn Gould School of music, the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto obtaining her Performance and Teaching Certificates in 1997. Ms. Linkletter’s principal voice teacher was Paul Massel, and her piano teachers were Jenny Regher and Charlene Biggs. Lori studied choral conducting techniques with Dr. Tuttle at the Royal Conservatory of Music and sang with the Eastminister United Church Choir under the direction of Alan Coffin. Lori taught at the studio of Paul Massel at the royal conservatory of Music, Toronto where she taught private students, beginning male singing techniques and conducted the 150 member beginner’s chorus before returning to PEI in 1997.Instructing our specialized dance classes is Kennedy Leard? Kennedy is a recent graduate from Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto, and has also earned a diploma in Theatre Performance at Holland College School of Performing Arts on Prince Edward Island. Kennedy has been in Anne and Gilbert as “Gertie Pye” for five consecutive years and has full training as a choreographer and a dance captain in many musical productions such as Bring it On the Musical, and Happy Days the Musical and is thrilled to be back on the island to teach! “I’m so excited to have Kennedy return to the Guild MTS as a Graduate from the Randolph school of performing arts in Toronto.” Lori Linkletter

Forever a beast until he’s loved.
This classic enchanted tale for the whole family is a tale as old as time.

This hilarious new version of Cinderella offers up a much more contemporary twist to the old tale. This time, Cinderella goes missing and everyone in the kingdom is a suspect. Packed with humor, fresh takes on classic characters, and plenty of pop-culture references, this play is sure to entertain.

All productions are being presented by The Guild with the permission of the Public Health Office of Prince Edward Island, and operates under its rules and guidelines. Within these guidelines, theatre seating has been limited to a maximum of 50 people. 

Chairs will be grouped with a maximum of 6 chairs per group, and each group is 6ft. from one another. It is possible that depending on the size of your party, you may be seated with other audience members within those 6 chairs.
