On Sunday, July 3, we’re piling on the fun with a brunch catered by Café Thomas-Martin and the Strait Jazz group is going to fire up the instruments for an extra shot of dance music! There *may* be beer-mosas. Just a rumour at this point.
This is not an event to miss! If you dance… welcome! If you like to tap your toes… Welcome! If you love Jazz… WELCOME! If you like BRUNCH? Then grab your tickets soon!
A portion of this play was read at the 2020 “Pounding the Pavement” event at the Island Fringe Festival and we are thrilled to support this full staged reading. To get tickets visit our website www.islandfringe.com
Black artists have influenced Canadian culture for decades, and yet have not been given the same opportunities as their white counterparts. This sort of systematic racism needs to stop. Make time to recognize Black artists, celebrate Black artists, and demand to see Black artists on stages and in theatres in your communities.
