A Bit of Soulstice

February 18th & March 4 – 7:30pm – $25

Winter SOULstice, presented by The Guild, features a very talented cast orchestrated by Music Director, Lisa MacDougall.

Lisa has played piano since the age of 3 and has been so fortunate and blessed to be a touring and recording artist, musician, musical theatre director and teacher in the music business for over 25 years! Through her musical journey touring the world in rock and rhythm and blues bands, this Halifax native became passionate about soul music.

MacDougall originally created the Lisa Mac and the Sexy Ida’s in 2012 in Halifax. Now that she’s on the Island, she thought it would be the perfect time to do a PEI version!

Joining MacDougall are Brieonna Locche, Nadine Haddad and Noah Malcolm. All three musicians have worked professionally in the music industry for quite some time, and are very excited to be harmonizing with Lisa again!

MacDougall promises “great songs, with great arrangements, very much lending themselves to strong, gospel rhythm and blues vocal performances.” SOULstice will feature songs by Aretha Franklin, Dianna Ross, and more!

Tickets for SOULstice can be purchased at The Guild Box Office (111 Queen Street) or by calling (902)620-3333.
